The Pearl Shirt — Slow Evening

The same shirt in black — same pearl hem, same hand-finished construction, same oversized cut. Different in every other way that matters.

Black cotton with a pearl hem reads differently to white. The contrast is higher, the detail more deliberate. Where the white version is quietly elegant, the black version makes a clearer statement. Both are correct.

Cut long at the back — 85cm — so it works over wide-leg pants, belted at the waist, or worn open as a layer. The pearl hem is the only detail. That's enough.

Why it takes time

Every pearl is sewn on individually by hand. There is no machine equivalent for this finish. Each shirt takes a full day to complete from cut to trim — which is why we make a limited number and don't restock once they're gone.
