About This Piece
White cotton. Hand-sewn pearls. Each one finished by hand in Cairo — which means the shirt that arrives at your door took longer to make than anything else in your wardrobe.
Pearls run along the hem, across the collar, and around the pocket. Three placements, sewn one at a time. From a distance it reads as a clean oversized shirt. Up close, the detail reveals itself.
Cut long — 85cm at the back — so it works as a dress over wide-leg pants, belted over a swimsuit on a beach day, or worn open as a layer over something simple. The oversized fit means it moves with you rather than against you.

Why it takes time
Every pearl is sewn on individually by hand — along the hem, across the collar, around the pocket. There is no machine equivalent for this finish. Each shirt takes a full day to complete from cut to trim — which is why we make it in small batches, and each run sells out and is not remade.
