Size up if you'll layer over shirts and knits (most fall styling); stay true to size for a closer, more tailored line. Suede holds structure and won't stretch to accommodate.
How does suede handle fall weather?
Cool, dry fall days are exactly what suede is for. Avoid heavy rain — light drizzle won't ruin it, but let it air-dry naturally and brush the nap back up. Never dry it near heat.
How do I care for it?
A soft suede brush once a week lifts the nap and keeps the colour rich. Spot-clean marks with a dry suede eraser. Store on a hanger, out of direct sun. Suede improves with age when it's treated with a little respect.
What do I wear it over?
Pearl shirts, ruffle tops, fine knits, even over a maxi dress. The vest is the finishing layer — it turns whatever's underneath into an outfit.
